The Village of Lake Odessa Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to accept comments for the purpose of reviewing a special use permit application on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30pm at the Page Memorial Building located at 839 Fourth Avenue, Lake Odessa.
David Nickel is applying for a special use permit for the purpose of a bait shop at the property located at 1400 Jordan Lake Street. The complete proposed applications will be available for viewing at the Page Memorial Building. Public comments will be accepted at the meeting and written comments can be mailed or dropped off at the Page Building during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. GOT JUNK? 2013 May Clean-Up: May 16th, 17th & 18th
The 2013 May Clean-Up has been scheduled for May 16th and 17th from 8:00am to 9:00pm and May 18th from 8:00am to 12:00pm. May Clean-Up is a service provided FREE of charge to the RESIDENTS of the Village of Lake Odessa, with the exception of appliances containing FREON.
Appliances that contain FREON gas such as refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners will be charged $50.00 for a drop off fee. If the appliance has been properly drained of FREON it will have a certified sticker. Without this sticker you will be charged the $50.00 fee. There will be a fee for any non-resident wishing to discard any of the approved items. Dumpsters will be located at the Department of Public Works building on M-50. The entrance will be located at the drive for Lakeview Lanes Bowling Alley. Items that are allowed and not allowed are located on the list below.
