
May 8th and 9th from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm & May 10th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
May Clean-up is a service provided FREE of charge to the RESIDENTS of the Village of Lake Odessa, with the exception of appliances containing FREON (see note below).
There will be a fee for any non-resident wishing to discard any of the approved items.
Dumpsters are to be located at the Department of public Works Building on M-50.
Please enter at the drive for the bowling alley.
This clean-up is for bulk items only; you will be allowed to discard the following items:
Couches, chairs, lawn mowers, grills, bikes, tubs, sinks, lawn furniture, etc.
Building supplies: lumber, drywall, shingles, carpet, etc.
Appliances that do not contain FREON GAS; such as water heaters, cook stoves/ovens, washers, dryers, water softeners.
Appliances that contain FREON GAS: refrigerators, freezers, or air conditioners are as follows:
If you have an appliance with FREON GAS there will be a $50.00 charge for village residents.
Q. What if the appliance no longer has FREON GAS in it?
A. If the appliance has been properly drained of FREON it will have a certified sticker stating so, with out this sticker you will be charged as though the appliance still has FREON GAS in it.
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED: 1) TIRES 2) CEMENT OR STONES/ROCKS 3) YARD WASTE/BRUSH
4) HOUSEHOLD WASTE 5) PAINTS OR PAINT THINNERS 6) PESTISIDES
Again this clean-up service is provided free of charge, except for appliances containing Freon, to Village of Lake Odessa residents only.
